These terms highlight our commitment to the brotherhood between the Polish and British aircrews who served here and our mission to preserve their legacy.
1. About Us
The RAF Ingham Web Shop is operated by the RAF Ingham Heritage Centre, a volunteer-led, non-profit organisation based at Middle Street, Ingham, Lincolnshire, LN1 2XQ. All proceeds from this shop are reinvested directly into the museum and the preservation of the history of the Polish Bomber Squadrons and No. 199 Squadron RAF.
2. Contract Formation
Orders: Your order constitutes an offer to buy. A contract is only formed when we send you an email confirming the dispatch of your goods.
Donations: Contributions made to the Reflection Room Appeal are processed immediately as charitable gifts. These do not constitute a “purchase” of goods unless a physical reward is specified in the tier.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£).
We reserve the right to adjust prices or withdraw products without notice.
Payment is handled via secure, PCI-compliant gateways (Stripe/PayPal). We do not store your financial data.
4. Donations and Gift Aid
Non-Refundable: Donations to the Reflection Room Appeal are generally non-refundable. If a donation was made in error, please contact us within 48 hours.
Gift Aid: If you are a UK taxpayer, you may elect to apply Gift Aid to your donation. By doing so, you confirm that you have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year that is at least equal to the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations.
5. Delivery and Shipping
Volunteer-Led: Please note that RAF Ingham is run entirely by volunteers. While we aim to dispatch orders within 3-5 working days, please allow extra time during commemorative periods (such as the anniversaries of VE Day or the Battle of Britain).
UK & International: We ship within the UK and internationally. Any customs duties or local taxes for international orders are the responsibility of the recipient.
6. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds
Physical Goods: Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order for physical goods within 14 days of receipt. Items must be returned in their original, unused condition at the buyer’s expense.
Exclusions: Personalised items (e.g., commemorative plaques) and digital downloads are non-returnable unless faulty.
Faulty Items: If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days for a replacement or refund.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this site—including archival photographs of the Polish Air Force, No. 199 Squadron records, and museum logos—is the property of RAF Ingham Heritage Centre or its licensors. Use of these materials for commercial purposes without written permission is strictly prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
While we strive for historical accuracy in our product descriptions and educational materials, RAF Ingham Heritage Centre is not liable for any inaccuracies. Our liability for any product purchased is strictly limited to the purchase price of that product.
9. Brotherhood and Conduct
Our shop is a community space dedicated to the “Polish Spirit” and Anglo-Polish friendship. We reserve the right to cancel orders or refuse service to anyone engaging in conduct that is disrespectful to the memory of the aircrews or the heritage of the site.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
